Temporary Exhibitions

Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art – 1981

The Museum was inaugurated with this permanent exhibit, which was mounted in the four galleries on the second floor of the Museum’s north wing. It was divided into cultural areas using the concept of America without borders, and explored the different cultures of our continent through the exceptional collection of Pre-Columbian artifacts donated by the institution’s founder, Sergio Larraín García-Moreno. This exhibit remained in place, with little modification, until 1998.
