This exhibit was focused on two of the most complex cultural developments of the territory that is now Mexico: the Zapotec and Mixtec cultures, which inhabited the highland regions of the Oaxaca Valley. Organized by the Mexican National Council for Culture and the Arts, the exhibit brought together close to 60 valuable pieces from three different museums. This display was also shown in Argentina and Uruguay.
