Sponsored by Fundación Andes and the Municipality of Santiago, this exhibit brought together a group of artists to work on a large mural mounted on the western wall of the Museum’s north patio. The event was held to launch “Arte-Encuentro”, a program that seeks to bring together contemporary art and our pre-Colombian heritage. 25 pre-selected works were exhibited, including works by Matilde Pérez, Patricio de la O, and Enrique Zamudio, who created the winning project.
