The quero cups images depict the different pachas— ‘purum pacha’ and ‘kay pacha’—from Inka times and Colonial times, respectively. The textiles make reference to kay pacha, ukhu pacha and hanaq pacha, which refer, respectively, to the present and actual, the infraworld or interior world, and the space and time of the sun and the Christian divinities.
