The idea that death is a necessary step towards achieving the fertility offered by the World of the Ancestors (the trance between life and death) is powerfully expressed in this depiction of a skeletal man. In it, an individual who appears as a cadaver with his erect penis represents the life force that makes procreation possible, transmitting the message that death is the road to life.
