Skirt: Big-Eyed Being

The geometric motif embroidered onto the hem of this skirt consists of two felines in alternating positions, seen in profile with head facing forward and with spiked backs and tails. This is a feline version of the Big-Eyed Being. Skirts like this one were wound two or three times around the waist and the cords passed over the shoulders or crossed over the chest and tied.
